Christopher Alexander

Christopher Alexander is a neoclassical composer based in Bay Area, California. Christopher’s music is inspired by his classical training as a music major, household exposure to New Age piano artists such as George Winston and David Lanz, and his love of more modern composers like Max Richter, Ludovico Einaudi, and Tony Ann.
After receiving a B.A. in Music and English at St. Olaf College, MN, Christopher spent two years in Rochester, Minnesota building a private piano studio of over 50 students, received a SEMAC (Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council) grant to put on a collaborative jazz music recital, and performed a self-curated live performance of a silent film at Gray Duck Theater and Coffeehouse.
In 2019 he relocated to the Bay Area, California where he began formally composing and releasing songs inspired by his love of Nature, literature, and philosophy. He released his first EP “Searching for Stars” in 2024. He has released thirteen songs to streaming services, and has sheet music available for all his music on Sheet Music Plus and Sheet Music Direct!
